报告人简介:

王国梁博士,美国俄亥俄州立大学教授。1992年获得国际水稻研究所(IRRI)和菲律宾大学博士学位。1999至今在美国The Ohio State University担任助理教授、副教授和教授。主要从事植物抗病与功能基因组学研究,特别是在水稻抗病基因克隆方面成绩显著。国际上克隆出水稻第一个基因Xa21,相关论文发表在Science上,该基因已被多个国家应用于抗白叶枯病育种实践; 在国际上首先克隆出广谱抗稻瘟病基因 Pi9Pi2Pizt,在植物抗病信号传导与广谱抗性分子机理方面做了一系列重要工作,为水稻抗病育种奠定了重要理论基础。在ScienceCell Host&MicrobePNASPlant CellPLoS Pathogens等杂志发表SCI收录论文100余篇。
