报告人简介：
Xin-Gen(Shane) Zhou博士，现为美国德州农工大学植物病理学Associate Professor，主要从事常规水稻和有机水稻的病害管理。1985年毕业于浙江农业大学植物保护专业，1988年获浙江大学植物病理学硕士学位，2000年在美国俄克拉荷马州立大学获植物病理学博士学位。2000-2009年在美国马里兰大学从事西瓜病害的综合防控技术研究。2009年进入美国德州农工大学，开展水稻纹枯病、稻瘟病、窄条斑病、稻粒黑粉病等水稻主要病害的综合防控技术研究，还与杂草科学家开发改进了传统水稻和有机水稻的杂草防控技术，获得第一个美国农业部资助的有机水稻生产项目。同时也是 Plant Health Progress和 Plant Disease Management Reports的资深编辑。迄今发表论文257篇，共获得研究经费290万美元。
